Journaling your way to a life you love
Ever feel like your life is running you rather than you running your life?
Journaling can help you to take a little time for yourself… and gently take back control.
A warm welcome!
Hello! I’m Mel, and if you find yourself feeling overwhelmed sometimes with the busyness of life I’d like to show you how to slow down and create a life you love using the power of journaling. It’s lovely to have you here.
If you’re tired of feeling like you’re just going through the motions, stuck in a rut, or simply fed up of life feeling more mediocre than marvellous, you’re not alone.
Being pulled in all sorts of directions, never having enough time, and constantly feeling stressed is bad for the soul… but I know you know that.
I invite you to pause, take a moment and just be.
Breathe
Imagine beginning your day feeling calm, clear, in control and looking forward to what the day has in store, then feeling content and proud of yourself by bedtime.
Imagine knowing exactly what you need to feel fulfilled and having the confidence to take steps to create that kind of life for yourself.
Imagine getting out of The Rut and living life in colour, full of sparkle.
Did your shoulders drop at the thought?
It’s not as out of reach as you might think.
So what is journaling?
Journaling is a simple but powerful tool that can reduce stress and make you feel much lighter.
In essence, journaling is writing your response to prompts or questions, or just writing out your thoughts or feelings, no judgement. It’s easy to do, you can spend as little or as much time as you have and it doesn’t cost much. It’s just for you, for your eyes only. You can’t get it wrong so there’s no pressure.
But it can have a huge impact on your life.
Journaling regularly can help you get back in the driving seat of your life instead of being a passenger.
Journaling can energise and encourage you when you’re feeling low.
It can help to reduce overwhelm, stress and anxiety and ultimately boost your happiness.
If you feel like there must be more to life if only you knew what you were looking for (and where to look for it) journaling can help you discover what’s missing and get clarity.
It can help you define your dreams and figure out why they’re important to you, giving you the motivation to get out of your own way and go after them.
Who knew that getting thoughts out of your head and down on screen or paper could be so beneficial?!
We humans are complex creatures with incredibly busy minds. Sometimes our minds work in our favour, sometimes less so. Journaling will help you become aware of your more unhelpful thoughts and reveal and harness those that will lift your spirits.
I believe that all the answers you’re searching for are inside of you, you might just need someone to ask the right questions to set them free. I’d like to be your someone. It just so happens that I have a veritable smorgasbord of juicy journaling questions and prompts to share with you!
I’m here to help you ditch the overwhelm and embrace calm, tap into your deepest desires, rediscover your passions and create a life that’s true to your authentic self. A life that lights you up.
And just so you know, I believe in baby steps, not bootcamp… we go gently here. It’s important to me that you go at a pace that fits you, so that journaling becomes a regular part of your life.
